revenue from their securities lending. We analysed the data submitted
by their lending Agent to Performance Explorer and made a presentation
to them with recommendations on the precise areas where their Agent was
weak. Also included were suggested alterations to their collateral
guidelines and a review of how similar organisations are positioned
with regard to securities lending.

We successfully helped a UK Pension Fund to convince their
Trustees that it made sense to allow their Custodian Agent
to have access to lend all of their portfolio. We
used Performance Explorer to
measure their potential revenue. Their income from this
business will increase by 1000% as a result.

portfolio could have earned by comparing a peer group of
other like lenders and what they were able to earn from
the same securities during the previous year. It was not
only the quantitative approach that the client valued but
also the fact that it was completely independent.
